Hey guys, I tried fitting some ARP flywheel bolts with my new QM twin but they were too long. Anyone else experienced this before? I re-tried with the stock flywheel and they look just about right for that one. It's an Evo 3. Same as the DSM 2G.

Well, I got two, one from an eBay member and one from extremepsi.com
Apparently they're actually Toyota flywheel bolts with the same threading, but just a bit longer. Will work for the stock flywheel but not most aftermarket ones..

 

You can cut them down, without affecting the strength of the bolts. Do it with a fine cutting wheel in a grinder. It will slice them very quickly producing very little heat.

 

I thought about that too.
Is it possible to use OEM ones though?
