Divider inside stock air box snorkel??

Divider inside stock air box snorkel??
I saw a divider inside the snorkel... why is it there?? Does it
help MAF smooth out the air flow?? Otherwise, it looks like just
restricting air to me...

dude u dont need to tear anything apart to look. If you look at your ram air scoop there is a divider in the middle of it. I dont know what its there for but i can guess. its probably there as support so the thing doesnt cave in.

Hmm.. good point.. but I kinda think it's strong enough though..
