Tob help help!!!!

Quick question

Im about to remove tranny
How do you know if the TOB is popped out?
(I Looked thru the little hole and used the screwdriver to try prying it out)

It seems loose now but im not sure.

ok... have somebody pull the fork towards the drivers side and hold the fork, than stick a long flat head screw driver threw the service hole between the tob and clip, than turn the screwdriver and hold it, than push the fork towards the passanger side.... the fork should feel loose now and it should be all the way towards the paasengers side....

so basically i will know if the TOB is loose if the fork has freee play?

Case is that i thought i had it out, i went to take tranny off but it was stuck on there, i was thinking it was TOB, the Fork is forced all the way toward the driver side

i mounted the tranny back on and it is almost locked toward the driver side, i can nudge it a little but not as much as before

ok i might take pics

i pushed all the way toward the driver, turned screwdriver, i then force the fork toward the passenger side. it goes about less than half way, should i give it more force? your saying the fork has to be ALL the way toward the passenger side? (i just feel like im going to break something)

unbolt it thru the rectangle hole?? its not big at all

Putting back in you have to also be very careful not to damage the spring. I did this and had to take everything apart again as it wouldn't engage at all....total PIA!
Good luck.
