any trick on how to get the tensioner on and bolted down with the serp belt on? i checked the two serp how to's on here and i think there is no description at all. .. i have the belt ran just having problems putting tensioner back on.. any info would be great

 

got it on , now i need to just tighten down..

 

what is the tightening point? is it the tensioner or the tensioner and alternator?

 

nevermind i got it, a bit easier of a set up then my 420a, just needed to step away from the car and take a breather.

 

Most people don't remove the tensioner to change the serp belt. You should just be able to turn it and slide an allen wrench through the "hold it" hole while your changing the belt. To release the tensioner just pull the allen wrench out.

you would if you did a motor swap.. :-).. i got it dont worry about it.
