Question Drag guys......What power diff running without AC and PS?

What power diff running without AC and PS?

Please share info here.

Can you notice the difference in power?

Will I gain mph in 1/4mile?

How hard to drive the Evo without PS on DD?
I used to have a 93 Lancer with no PS and it was ok on DD. I do have an Accord for DD right now but I still drive my Evo on the streets.

The power difference is probably very little, especially when you're racing in a straight line, not using the power-steering. and not using the A/C. The benefits are more to do with the weight reduction and the space that it clears up under the hood for a monster-sized turbo and header.

The gains would not really be noticable its more for the weight.

The gains are there but its a beach to drive an evo without ps on a daily basis. When I removed mine I was shocked at how hard it was to turn. Its not like anything I've ever driven without PS If its a drag car its highly recommended to remove it as the car tends to go straighter and you dont over correct. A/C is soley a personal preference. If both are removed you will see a difference, but I can honestly say if you drive the evo at all on a daily basis I dont think it is worth it...
