Recently my crank angle sensor went out and when I went to took it off I saw this

Do you guys have an idea what would have caused this?

Maybe you have some crank walk, and it hit something, thus bending. Mine did the same thing when my timing belt broke. I just bent it flat and went with it, but when I swap in my new motor I am going to use a new one. Just make sure its clear of the crank sensor, or you will ruin another sensor.
