ever since i got my o2 dump installed...i am not able to boost over 21psi...i have high pressure wastegate which is 21psi so it wont boost over wastegate pressure... im running greddy profec b II...was boosting 23psi before solid and now can't get past 21...check all hoses and connections and found one leak and fixed...still not boosting past 21psi and now i am lost...someone had simliar experience help me out?

 

Stock turbo(VIII, or IX)? What WGA? Is it the FP unit?

 

i would just double check all the vaccum lines too man. from boost controler to the turbo all that stuff one of the hoses could of pop off

what gasket did you use?

 

BTW, which O2 dump did you go with?

 

double check vacuum lines, might be pinched or something like that

 

pull the wastegate line off and see if the boost starts to spike (let off the gas at 25 of course). This will help you narrow down the possibilities.

 

My o2 dump creeped like a ****. Funny that you are having the opposite issue

 

I'm running the green ported and polished with buschur hp wastegate actuator..min boost is 21 psi for that actuator..I'm running map o2 dump...I checked all vaccum and lines..did found one leak and fixed..I thought I might have reverse the hook up at the control valve but its hooked up correctly...com to actuator and NO to turbo...I tried raising the set boost, start boost, gain ect higher but still boosted 21

 

yep..i still can't tell why.... could it be my wastegate is stuck open? by if it is..it wouldn't make sense to hold 21psi solid

 

got my wideband working...reading is all over the place... cruise is around 13.7-15.7... WOT is 10.1 afr...i need a tune bad

 

finally got it fixed! i tested everything and was fine... turned out to be the connector between the boost control valve and the control unit was loose..which i wired it behind the dash...was pain in the *** to find..but now its boosting good!
