Inline fuel pump...

Just out of curiousity, why couldn't we just put a 2nd walbro 255 inline with an existing walbro rather than buying a 500$ bracket to run two standard pumps?

Does anyone know the physics behind this or maybe shed some light on the issue? It makes sense in my mind lol

You could. This is how AMS' 1kHP fuel setup was. Not sure if it remains that way or not.

Im not positive but I think its might be for ease of installation. To put a inline pump I think your going to have to run a new fuel line seeing the stock one is metal.

Other than that Im not to sure. I want to the same thing seeing I already changed my stock fuel lines up front over to S.S. with the adapter's for the fuel rail.

The AMS 1K HP setup was not inline. It had one pump in the stock location, and the other was a Walbro external pump that pulled from the tank. The pump's outputs were connected through a "Y" fitting outside the tank. It was a parallel pump setup.
