Question Tcase install?

so we got all engine happy and got the block and tranny all mounted and installed but didnt put the Tcase in? were struggling like crazy to get the tcase but its either hitting the oil pan or the arm is not going in the "hole". any tips or techinques to get the tcase so i can start this bad boy TONIGHT!?

So it's completely off the car? Take the rear section of the t-case off will give you some more room. Be careful when putting the rear back on afterwards since there is a thin metal gasket. Good luck.

that just made us smile lol sounds like easiest option we had. do we need to seal this gasket with anything? Tq specs?

Did you loosen/remove the bolts holding the steering rack to the chassis, yet? You only need to remove the sleeve on the rear of the TC, which slides off and not the whole rear.

we were just dropping in an engine today and, yes you will benefit from setting the TC in the car before dropping the engine and tranny

yeah we just totally forgot about it some how it was hidden under things we got the gears in and the "tail" is in it took a while and ALOT of wiggling but its in. thank you for your help aaron(for the idea)

I loosened the subframe as much as possible without takin it off, then put a ratchet strap frm the front of the engine to the rad support and pulled the engine forward, goes back up in there pretty easy
