TurboXS FMIC??

Is anyone familiar with this setup? I noticed the combo sale they have on LancerShop.com and thought it looked interesting. I just blew up my OE turbo and am going to a 20G so i figured why not do the intercooler too?

Not a bad deal. I hear it's a decent FMIC.
I'd go with ETS (what I use) though it's about the same price I think.

I can get you set up with that TurboXS package for just $849.99 shipped, let me know if that interests you! The ETS system would run about $100 more, I think you will be very happy with either.

I have the turboxs fmic.

it works ok.

a downside for me wsa the i.d. of the inlet / outlet. it is barely 2.200" due to the thick casting. yeah i could have tried enlarging the i.d., but the castings were concentric to the o.d.

i think the ets unit with a 2.5" o.d., would have a 2.375" i.d.

in saying all that, i made decent power with the turboxs fmic & saw a significant drop in airtemp too, especially after a 1st-4th pull.

if you search my name, i generated a write-up on my findings.

Thanks guys.

I actually have a hookup on ETS stuff, I'm not looking to make over 400WHP at any given time so I guess I can go with either kit?..

I just pulled my turbo, complete intake, and exhaust off the car and yea the turbo is completely destroyed, I doubt its even rebuildable, same with the intercooler.. Its packed full of oil and metal shavings.. Doesnt look like i have an metal past the intercooler and my engine oil is clean, just checked it.

An ETS 3" will easily support a 400hp setup, which i bet u could get for about the same price as TurboXS. another thing, through reading various posts on here ive noticed some commenting that the turboxs ic flows good but becomes heatsoaked esily, after numerous pulls. the ets bar & plate design tends to stay cool longer than tube and fin design, which he stock and turboxs are if im correct. i have the ets 3" and piping..high quaility and great fitment. goodluck

I would just go with an ETS 3.5 kit if you looking on not spending a whole lot of money. I say ETS because the intercooler is a better then TurboXS plus with a 3.5 you leave yourself some room to grow
