Low oil after 1000miles!!!

Hey guys, long story short I installed HTA35R and since the low oil pressure flash’s after 1000miles, I check the oil level and it's very low

I checked for leaks and found nothing, and no bluish smoke coming out of the exhausts, and car feels good still has the 500whp and it pulls the same, but I can't seem to find the problem regarding the low oil thing. The only thing I can think of is the big turbo that might be burning more oil than I think it would

I need help in to what to check, am going to do a compression test this week, and hope that it turns out okay.

This is your first 1K miles since the 35R is on? Did you remove anything else during your install as in the oil cooler or anything? You remembered to start the car after the oil fill and let the new lines and everything fill and then top it all back off to the full mark?

Sorry these are "basic" questions, but it's best to start simple. I had a friend (Civic owner) that did a clutch job and forgot to put tranny fluid back in it and asked me why it was hard to get into gear...

This is my second time changing the oil after installing the 35R, at first I thought it was a leak, but once I checked everything I found no leak so I thought it's the 35R, but now I only have 1000miles on it and it happened again.

I really need help, I just want to know what to check for next.

I took it to the mechanic to check it and he found nothing, he told me it's possible that the turbo is burning too much oil when you go WOT, he changed the oil and gave me an extra 1 liter of oil to keep in my trunk incase I see the low oil pressure again.

What weight oil are you running? 911's burn about a quart every 1k miles too. Some porsche owners alleviate this by switching to a heavier oil which seems to help most cases. When I used to run 5w30 in my old car it would lose a quart every 3000 miles too but when I switched to 10w30 no oil was lost.

Try goin to 5w-40. Porsche owners have been switching to this to consume less oil.
I been using 10w-30 in my ix since new.

Do NOT let oil get low enough for the low oil pressure warning light to come on. This is the "total destruction is eminent warning" not to tell you when your oil is low.

A performance engine shouldn't be consuming ANY oil. It's either leaking or burning. With no visible leaks or puddles, I would assume that it's burning it. Find how how it's getting into the combustion chambers.

Do you have a functioning PCV system installed correctly?
If so, have you installed an in-line oil seperator?
Is there oil in the intake tract?
Have you done a leakdown test?

Thanks Jackson, am going to check all of this this week.

I forgot the mention, that I got an oil catch can on the driver side, cuz when I installed the BR intake it didnn't have a nipple connect the breather so I used an oil catch can, as for the PCV valve I'll check it this week.

I'm planning on building my engine next year, and change everything from the PCV to the oil and water pump, so I want thie stock engine to last for the next year til am able to save enough money to do the build
