ACT Street Disc Clutch Abuse....

how many launches do you street disc owners have on your clutch??

how much abuse do you put your street disc threw??

how long before a street disc goes out??

im at about 373 awhp / 375 trq and have about 8-10 launches on my street disc now.

just curious on how long before she goes out...

and the 8-10 launches are over a 1 years span.....so its not often and i gave you a high number just to be safe lol.

and i love my ACT

reviews of clutches are relative...and if you had actually read the OP's post, he already has an ACT clutch

i have a few launches on mine and its holding up fine. it all depends on the abuse, and it doesnt sound like you rag on yours

I'm using a lightly used ACT street disc, it grabs hard still but I'm getting some bad lockout at high rpms at the track. It really sucks, bad. I'm going to try a new stiff front mount and see if that helps, but I am starting to hate this thing. My stock clutch never did that.

It's seen more than 10 launches from me and feels the same, it will go out within the next year or less for sure though I know it. That's if I can take this lockout crap for that long.

You adjust your clutch pedal? My 6 puck has never done that.

lol 10 launches over a year. I just went to the track friday night and launched the car over 10 times alone 12 to be exact. lol.

I swear the more I beat on the clutch the stronger it feels. I have zero issues with my act hdss along with a pro lite flywheel and ams stainless steel clutch line. Also my clutch pedal is adjusted.

I have over 20k now on it with over at least 25-30 launches and probably be ten more this friday. lol.

6 puck sprung, HD, with act flywheel here and loving it... Ive had it for almost 4 months and just did my first launch this weekend coming out of a club; so you know street was packed. Pushing 400at the wheels, and by the time 1st had revved up, i let go and simply amazed myself, hopefully memories like that is what heaven is all about... lala Evo land. were the real deal people. God Bless America and all our Evos.

I would have did the Exedy if it wasent so much more money. My stock clutch was slipping so i went with the XTSS. Pedal is bit more stiff, but im used to it. I am very curious to see how well this holds up. Ill probably give it 20 launches total, but im more concerned about it holding power.
