It's just a cleaned + surfaced stock head with supertech springs + retainers.

Machinist is Mike at Malden Machine here in Mass.

FOr what you have invested you could scoop up a nice set of ferrea valves for that head.. You have nice parts why not finish it off with good valves you can trust?? We have them for a STEAL of a price..

They're original stock valves with 55k miles on them. Four (2 intake, 2 exhaust) were replaced because they were exposed to a blown piston and some good sized chunks worked their way out of the head and into the hotside.

3 weeks. I waited for ExtremePSI.com to get a shipment and got one fairly quickly. I find its much easier to go through a vendor that gets a regular shipment from FP than it is to wait 6+ weeks for your turn in line. I did the same thing with my Green.

Yea, it's annoying how the modding world is... every little improvement is just another couple hundred bucks, but before you know it, you've spent $5000 more than you really needed to. This was unexpected work because I had an engine failure so I'm being frugal.

The two intake valves that say "made in japan" are aftermarket, I've seen them crack in DSMs before.
