Its pretty much a done deal so it looks the 3586 is going on the car. I will have the 37r for sale soon. BTW- Great times on the stock turbo! Were you at the Street Tuner Mayhem with the others?

so what are you going to gain from 3586 over your 37r? a lil better spool and thats it? you need to turn your boost up to get all that power out of your gt37. I made 762 on my gt37(5 bolt .63) on 41psi. You going to spend a lot more money on the hta3586 for better spool and get about same power out of the car. Its your money but $1800 is a lot to spend for better spool, that gt37 will get you into 9s too.

I always thought the 4202 had a 74mm wheel where the 37r had a 67mm. I could be wrong.

Great point. I actually would like to have better spooling turbo but I don't want to lose any top end. I'm getting the 3586 for a killer deal not to mention I can sell my 37r for a good chunk of change since it has low miles. So it really won't cost too much to upgrade. Thats some impressive figures on the 37r! Nice!

Yeah I know... I've been having good luck selling named brand turbo's on ebay lately. If anything I may just throw it on my Typhoon. Its wimpy V6 turbo sucks *** and that would make a nice upgrade until I get the TT V8 setup done (next year).

The bigger compressor isnt what always means its going to be laggy. I have seen some old 37s (PT67 to be exact) that werent much better than a 4202 (both twin scroll and open). The 3586 seems to make all the power a 67 (nee 37) would and still scoots better than it would.

Let me know next time you're in FL and I'll give you a ride in the 2.0L HTA86.
