HTA3586 vs 6262 turbo

Ill be there Aug 28 to Sept 6th but Ill be in Ft Myers and Key West. Its going to be hard to get up there this time around.

6262 lag

how is the 6262 a 10 sec turbo but still "has crazy lag" ??? it doesnt make since to me!

the 6262 has went way faster then 10s awd motorsports has ran 8s with it i think and if they dident i no they went 9.1@150+ they also have made well over 700hp on it the 6262 is far from a 10sec turbo.

The stock turbo can make full boost at 3500rpm. while a large turbo like the 6262 on a 2.0ltr probably won't make full boost till 5500rpm so there's your lag. A well built drag car will never be under 5500rpm in a 1/4mile and it will have extended rev limits and valvetrain to match. Pretty much under 5500 rpm it's going to be compact car like performance and above 5500 it's going to have neck snapping power. While a stock turbo car is going to have almost instant boost ability in any gear at just about any rpm but it's going to be HP limited because the little turbo can only move so much air.

I get full spool 31 psi at 5,200 on my 2 .0 liter..
