Ok if the dust cover is slightly out of round it will rub the seal in a bad way causing it to open and leak when moving, but when stopped it will not leak or if it does its barely a leak. Another cause is a bad clip on the dummy axle if i was you id replace all 3 but the dust cover is impossible to find! I had to re round mine using a large socketand rolling it mitsu doesnt have a clue what the dust seal is and they dont have it in there parts data base i went thru this with them. when you replace the seal stick it on the dust cover then putt the axle on do not try putting the seal then the axle on it wont seat properly...let me know if you need more info

Most digicams, even the cheap ones have a macro feature. Usually associated with a flower icon, specifically for taking pictures up close.
