Does my motor sound odd ?

I have had two Timing belts replaced in 1 month (#1 in 12/4/08 26,582 miles, then #2 on 1/16/09, 26,981 miles, now at 30,950, the noise is back). BUT, when I drove off after belt #2, it seemed like a strange vibration at 4-5000rpm. Unfortunately , I had to take it back that day because the CE light came on. They replaced the VVT this time. While I was there, I mentioned that it sounded different now, almost like the exhaust was rattling (could be). The mechanic looked at me like I was insane. So I ignored the noise until now.

If you could, please listen to this, I sense a strange harmonic "humming" around 4-5000. Thanks!

they probably didn't time the balance shafts properly.

even if the marks are "good" the balance shaft can be off.

Thx. I have not heard "out of sync" balance shafts, nor have I felt them before, I thought the vibration would be bad through the steering wheel. Just now I was driving from the store , and as I was coasting, I revved up to 5K+ and let it off when suddenly I heard a metal to metal vibration. Sounds like the exhaust is rubbing on something, but I checked and everything is good. (stock exhaust).
