23 psi okay for evo 9 with a few mods?

Hey guys i just had a quick question. I just recently installed an AMS manual boost controller. and i set it up to 23 psi. before i installed it i was hitting about 20 psi and i did a baseline dyno with no tuning. and i was putting down about 235 awhp on a dyno dynamic dyno. my air fuel ratio is about 10.5 at redline. my mods are just a arc intake box and a cobb catback for now and i was wondering if running 23 psi is okay or should i turn it down?

I wouldn't take the risk. All the cars seem to be pretty different from the factory with how they respond to added boost. I would get a tune and turn it up safely. I've been running 24.5lbs for over a year now with just some bolt-ons and a quick tune on the dyno.

^^^ +1 I probably wouldn't run more than 20lbs of boost w/out a tune.

most people will keep their boost around 20psi after installation of boost controller before tune. even tho people do that w/ no problem but always try to stay on the safe side. by just looking at the a/f ratio is not everything. timing, boost, a/f ratio work in conjunction w/ each other
