buschur down pipe and o2 housing gasket

i'm trying to install my buschur dp, but i guess i have to remove the o2 housing gasket. this seems pretty impossible considering there is no room and the gasket has become one with the o2 housing. i don't know why they didn't make it so it'd just fit around it, but any ideas on how to get the gasket off? cause i'm at a total loss.

hmmm i dont know much about this dp or why it wouldnt fit around the donut gasket but it should be able to come off fairly easy, mine did when i had to pull the turbo to switch o2 housing... its def ognna b easier pulling the turbo but just get a rag around it and twist and pull hard haha

yeah, i imagine 46k miles ago it would have been much easier, but it seems to have welded itself to the o2 housing by this point. lol.

the gasket is compressed around the o2 housing from the pressure of the stock dp. you can jam a flat head inbetween the od of the housing and the id of the gasket and stretch it a little. it should slide right off.

yeah, i finally got a screw driver in between the housing and the gasket and then slowly pried it off with needle nose pliers. the metal in the gasket cut my hand up pretty good but it worked.
