My Buschur 2.3 stroker with hta 86
Mellon, I looked at your site to figure out what hardware I need to use EcuFlash and Evoscan, and it says the 1.3 USB cable and a serial adapter are necessary. What is the serial adapter for if the cable is a USB cable? Sorry if its a stupid question, I'm new to the computer side of things.
Also, if TooMuchBoost gets successfully tuned through email, I may consider doing it too. I originally thought that wasn't a good idea for more extreme setups, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I love tuning "extreme" setups...it doesn't matter whether it's local or remote, the process is exactly the same.
the output cable on the end of the lc-1 wb02 cable is serial...your laptop is likely usb, hence the need for the serail to usb adapter cable. sorry for the confusion

Can you PM me pricing for a tune on 91 and E85 with ECU controlled boost and map switching? Thanks.

Congrats on the build. Although your HP numbers aren't what you want them to be yet, have you noticed a difference in your torque?
! yeah the tq is alot better and off boost power is alot better also. I can just drive around not in boost and the car has plenty of pep.

Congrats on the build and thank you for running our engine!
The tuner you are using appears to not be up on the latest stock ECU modifications. The knock can be dialed out. I'd be interested to see the actual tune though as our shortblocks are generally very quiet and I find it hard to believe you have false knock. I could be wrong...
The stock ECU is capable of big power and I wouldn't have said that just few months ago.
The AEM EMS in the right hands is excellent, not sure who you are planning on having that tuned if you go that route.
I agree with most of these guys and think if you get the stock ECU tuned by the right person you will be happy.
