I would say with a good tune and add meth you can do about 500 whp. I have seen plenty do that power.

I would say it really depends on what/where/who. What you are dyno'd on, where you are dyno'd (hot, humid, altitude?), who does your tune and how aggresive they tune it. That is why you see variations.

Depends on too many variables. The proper answer is that is capable of 500whp. All dyno type vary, type, style, altitude, weather. You can expect to see a certain amount of HP depending on all those factors including who's tuning your car. Just search on the FPRed turbo and you will see some of the results users here have had.

id suggest a bottom end built, as well as a trans upgrade.. Why put down big numbers on the dyno to just blow it up your first launch down the track.. Build the car so that you dont have to remove half the parts you installed to fix the outcome of breakage!!

+1 Bottom end, JE 9.0, Alum Rods, ARP Bolts & head studs, Supertech springs and Ti retainers, FIC 1350's with Buschur double pumper! With the right tune on E-85 @ 35-39 PSI. that should put you 530-550WHP. If you got a shep trans, I would also step up your t-case. That is weaker then the factory trans. And a twin disc once you burn through that ACT.

I say get some 1000cc injectors, better BOV, GSC S2's and a HTA Green and on you'll put down 470+, but yeah go with the red and a good tune ....

470 on pump is overly optimistic with your set-up.

I agree with the above quote. As it presently stands, there are only two actual power producing mods on your car(if you count the RS intake), other than the proposed turbo upgrade. On that miserly CBRD Dyno, MAYBE you could see 360 on 93 octane pump with a great tune. 470 is a reach. Probably 345-355 max is closer to reality.

With you current set up, I'd say 400 or so on pump, if you go with race gas or meth, you will definitely need to get a better BOV, the MRDV will only hold 27 lbs or so. Many people have crushed thier's with good results, but I upgraded to a Forge RS.

Don't need built motor or trans or any of that yet. Sure it would be awesome, but the stock motor will handle it easily. Stock valvetrain will handle it, depending on cams. I wouldnt be too worried about breaking too many trannies with that power. You will need at LEAST an MR bov, better injectors, etc.

TX: Look at the Dyno number in his first post. He plotted 300 WHP. I don't think that he would be able to get a 100 WHP increase to 400 WHP by only swapping from a IX turbo to a Red, given the same Mustang dyno and pumpgas.
