What is this part!?!

Ok so I found out why my car wouldnt go into 1st or 2nd gear. there is a clip or something that connects to the tranny and or shift cables, without the clip when 1st gear is engaged, you can slide the shifter knob over to 3rd gear, and you can't put it in 2nd at all.
does anyone know what this part is called? like the exact name of it??
the dealership i called for the part has it on backorder so i need to find this piece at another one but i need the name of the part to get the part number..

guessing your talking about the cotter pin ? just get an underhood shifter bushing kits.. come with the bushings and C-clips, or new pins.. depending which one you order..

All I know is, is that it is some sort of clip....its not the clip that goes on top of the end of the shifter cables....all I know, is that it allows 1st gear to FULLY engage, and allows 2nd gear to engage period.
