BOV reccomendations

I decided today to ditch my Forge RS due to bucking issues.
I have the stock plastic valve in right now and it is MUCH better, but obviously not holding boost.
I got all my money back from Forge and now looking for a new valve
I am tossed up if I should get an IX valve and crush it and try a cheap fix, or go with like an APS or Synchronic and possibly have the same bucking problems?

Any suggestions? I just need the car drivable under all boost conditions and to hold 25-32 psi or so fine.

How much boost are you running? You have some good choices there, and the end it is only up to you, and your wallet

If you are planning to staying under 27PSI, stay with the Stock IX BOV, else go APS.

+1 APS or the Synapse BOV...

Check out some of the threads in here that talk about the APS and Synapse...

I have been very happy with my Greddy RS. It holds boost and it doesnt "buck" like some of the other BOV in the market.

I dont mind spending the money if I get one that works.
I jsut dont wanna spend $250-300 for a valve that doesnt work again and find out the company isnt as graceful as Forge to refund.

I am currently running 25 psi or so. I will prob up it to 30ish once in a while.
I just dont want part throttle bucking and fluttering. On spirited mountain runs or road courses this is very dangerous in my book.

I heard of some similar problems on both APS and Synapse

I've run the stock IX BOV on my car with the BBK at around 29.5 psi.. no issues.

Otherwise, go APS.

I recently installed a Synapse and it works well, though I'm still on stock turbo and running relatively low boost...getting ready for E85 soon. I like the design of the valve and engineering-wise should be the best DV/BOV in regards to holding boost and reaction time.

I'm in the same boat as the TC. I need a recirculating BOV that is good for up to 30 psi because my stock IX BOV is clearly not doing the job. So is the APS BOV what I'm looking for?

GinnBoost and Caleb. . . . Are yours crushed?
Caleb, what kinda power you making?

I got an IX valve coming in this week to try out. I figured it was cheap enuff to try and see. If it doesnt work out I should be able to get my money back out of it.
I guess if that dont work Im gonna try the APS. Too much confusion it seems on the Snychronic. I dont like the having to lube the APS all the time like people have been posting though.
