o2 Sensor = Really bad?

Today I was driving on the highway, everything was fine, and I shifted into 5th and my car just bogged the **** out. So I pulled over, my idle was fine, engine temp. was good, so I started making my way back to work. I couldn't rev above like 1500rpms and when I tried the car was just bog out hard and jump around. I've driven my past cars with no o2 sensor and it was nothing like this. Is this normal on an Evo?

Start with your intercooler piping, sounds like a boost leak.

i dont think thats your sensor, i have a bad o2 sensor and my afr gauge says im running a lil lean at wot and never bogged out but i could be wrong. maybe a vacuum hose or a intercooler pipe came loose.

That was one of my initial thoughts but it seemed strange that it's getting no o2 sensor code now, and only after this happened. I'll check it out tomorrow though because my car has been in limp mode before and it was nothing like this.

ive had this prob in other cars and i would check the maf and the cat. each one can cause similar conditions. if cat is not plugged, swap mafs. good luck.

LICP fell off haha, I guess the lack of airflow on the hotside just gave the PCM a no o2 signal. Problem solved now though.
