People with a v band exhaust...

did you use any type of gasket maker between the pieces??? Even with the clamps tight I can feel some small leaks coming from the around the clamps near the cat.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea to use some gasket maker. I guess that permatex copper stuff would work? Been a while since I researched that stuff.

If it's leaking then you best as those leaks will no doubt throw off your WB.

I've always wondered how they weld them w/o the flanges warping? Could anybody elaborate on this? I was thinking welding them with the flanges assembled and v-band tightened?
