should I install injectors?

got a set of RC 750cc injectors and was thinking about putting them in. I just have the basic bolt on's TBE,intake LICP, EBC and o2 housing and is self tuned. I dont plan to upgrade anything soon, would I see any gains or should I wait for turbo and cams? I know I will have to re-tune

Don't bother with new injectors right now. At your current mod level the stock injectors are perfect. Installing new injectors will provide no benefits and only cause headaches.

Log your injector duty cycles. Only that will tell when you need injectors. If you're still on the stock VIII pump then you'll probably want to address that first.

Get a fuel pump too then go for it. It doesn't take much to push the stock injectors past 80% IDC. It will only be problem/headach if you can't tune for them. It's laying the ground work for the cams/turbo.

The stock injectors are perfectly fine with the stock ECU until 110% IDC as logged by EvoScan. Please remember that EvoScan does not display actual IDC. A stock IX pump will support your mods, but I am unsure about the VIII since I know it does flow less.

That's a load of non-sense. Exact IDC can be logged by EvoScan
Code:
IDC = (IPW * RPM) / 1200
There's no reason to assume that up to 110% IDC is perfectly fine. Log your actual IDC and if it's above 80 you should consider bigger injectors.

OP, if you don't have a high flow fuel pump already, get that ASAP. It will probably make you run richer as soon as its installed because the VIII pump is so weak.

My Evoscan has the formula as below. Is that correct? I haven't changed anything.
[InjPulseWidth]*31.25*x/1200

I do have a walbro 255 forgot to mention. the car run fine right now, boost peaks at 25psi and taper to around 22psi to redline. I think I got it dialed in pretty good, just woundering if I would gain any. probally wait till I get cams.

That's correct. In this case, 31.25*x is RPM. You'll note that in EvoScan, IDC and RPM are both logging the same thing, MUT21. They are just doing different formulas with the data.

I'm currently pegging 92-94% IDC with 22psi and the mods in my sig. So I figured if I were to turn up the boost any more, I should definitely get bigger injectors. But a buddy of mine who has even more mods than I do on an Evo8, went to get a Jestr tune and he turned up his boost to 25psi, still on stock injectors That's why I'm thinking above 100% IDC on Evoscan might be within reason still?

correct. although it is not ideal and ur injectors are working over their most efficent and accurate percentage they will still flow up to i believe 120idc before you hit fuel cut. I drove my car for about 6 months with numerous track runs and logged 114ish idc and the car ran just fine. i currently have bigger injectors now but to answer ur question, yes. 100% is ok for some time, just not ideal.
