Do I need a fuel pump?

evo IX (with the stock upgraded pump) stock injectors -

TBE, intake, fmic, o2 housing and ported coated stock manifold + tune. I'm not sure what power levels, but i'd expect 350 +awhp on a dynojet if other cars are any indication.

I'd prefer not to mess with the fuel pump if I can help it, I don't want to modify the vehicle more then I need to, and I also don't want to deal with the whine.

Obviously if it's something I NEED to do, then I will. Just trying to plan things out. Thank you!~

ix pump is slightly better than the 8, however, some cars will max out idc with the stock pumps sooner than others. Might as well get it done, you'll need it real soon anyways.

I am running an VIII with a IX pump and what you have + cams and no prob. I went with the IX pump to avoid the same issues with pump noise.

Get it. First mod I did and the whine isn't bad with the rear seats/liner in. It's pretty annoying w/o the seats though.

Remember you might need a re-tune just adding a pump. It will tend to make you run rich.
