OMG how could you put an ebay exhaust on your beloved Evo. Dude, if you can't afford the million dollar exhaust from ARC then you are just wasting your time and money.

/sarcasm
The 200 dollar ebay is actually a nice piece for the money. If you are looking to shed weight you need to look elsewhere than your exhaust. BTW I use the 200 dollar ebay special.

A really light proven exhaust is the Buschur.

If you dont care about being loud you can get the Buschur turbo back exhaust with bullet muffler. But if you want a little quieter than the magnaflow muffler instead of the Bullet.

How do you like your JIC? Is it the round or oval canister? I'm interested in how the oval canister with resonator sounds as far as tone, db level, any drone, etc.?

The JIC sounds similar to a greddy ti. Difference is that it is a slip fit exhaust and sometimes the metal brackets vibrate and rattle a tad. no biggie.

Jesse how is your AL system holding up? Do you have a flex pipe? Mine didn't last long at all. Crack after crack but I didn't have a flex pipe.

We do have the lightest SS exhaust system for the EVO8-9. I can make it even lighter for you if you are trying to save every pound but as it gets lighter the sound is going to get louder.

The only exhaust you are going to find that is lighter than ours is titanium. If you weigh the price difference to the (4 pounds I believe) you save it is not worth the money. Also keep in mind nobody makes a titanium downpipe/offroadpipe (that I have ever seen) so you will still need those in something light, which ours is the lightest there too.

Good luck to you, if you want something custom just ask or send me a PM.

Thank you.

I was going to say that Buschur is the lightest afaik. Lol but Dave beat me to it!! Damn him and his soliciting his own products.

But actually the lightest is just an open downpipe. Lol or no exhaust at all

I have the ap. its not ful ti, just the muffler. The muffler itself is retarded light, the rest of it, is some thick ss.

ive never had any rattle problems with the jic, it is loud when your on it... but highway driving its really not that bad at light throttle. it does seem like titamium exhausts are generally louder than ss.

mine is a round canister. the only thing i dont like; my friend has the same exhaust on his sti and my brother on his nissan and although our piping is the same diameter.. for some reason my canister/ tip is larger for the evo than sti or s13.
i wish i had the smaller version like them but i dont think its an option, i guess different sizes for different vehicles.

I can build it straight with no muffler but I find it completely annoying to drive.
