Lightest Exhaust

Im starting this thread because I have been searching and searching and I can not find out what is the lightest exhuast on the market today. I know buschar sells the lightest stainless steel but not the lightest on the market. Obviously its going to be titanium because that weighs less than stainless steel. But does anyone know the lightest weighing exhust system how much it tips the scales at thank you

Greddy and ARC make full titanium systems.

Tanabe makes a partial titanium system.

Depending on the useage, you may consider aluminum.

I know that will **** people off about it being the wrong metal to use in an exhaust system, but the fact remains, for drag racing, lots of guys use it.

I have an aluminum exhaust for my street car. It could easily melt apart the first time cruising down the freeway. It's under 10 pounds for the cat-back and it's 4". The 4" is actually to keep metal temp down and not to improve exhaust flow over a good 3". It was also considerably cheaper to build then a stainless exhaust.

I emailed JIC a few month's back and received the following on the weight for the Spartan DE Type 2:
" The system itself weighs in at around 16.5lbs. That's a long way from the OEM 46 lbs."

I think I asked for the stainless/ti (only muffler is ti) but don't know if they sent me the weight for that or for the full ti.

If your interested this is the sound level this is what they said: "The is pretty quiet. I want to say around 96 DB average depending on other mod done. The piping is full all he way through. There is no compressions."
