turboXS tbe install/ problems with brace
First, I have a recently purchased WW IX GSR...
I just installed a turbo xs downpipe, race pipe and cat back. I used all the provided metal spacers and I think its still hitting the front cross brace and (hitting, but not quite as bad) the back one as well. I love the exhaust tone/ power/ looks but dammit.. nearly $850 and they couldnt have worked this out.
Also, in your opinions, would this cause a cel??
Thank you everyone.

I don't see how the exhaust hitting a chassis brace could cause any problems. I removed one of mine when I installed my AMS TBE but the test pipe will cause a CEL but if you run a spacer for the O2 like I did for my test pipe, it'll eliminate the CEL for the test pipe.

Mine occurs in specific rpm ranges, usually at the top of gears (2nd and 3rd by majority). Its also noticeable when mivec engages. I thought it was the t-case at first and my f**kin heart sank.. then i realized sometimes when i would coast at high r's in the low gears and then let off the gas it was happening. Phew, at least its not trans/drivetrain related...
