HTA3076R installed... can I safetly boost to 13psi?
jeez, get your problems fixed now or stop driving the car....a cheap internet tune(which is by no means cheap and could be totally quality based on your ability to data log and send the files back and forth to the tuner) would be wayyyyyyyyyyyy cheaper than blowing a head gasket or destorying a ring land/piston, or even your valves.
fix issues, intall injectors, get internet tune....enjoy and wait for ams if you think it's necessary
sounds like you need this again....don't boost/drive your car hard and imho don't even drive it at all...get a tune

the good thing bout living in chicagoland is there's tons of good tuners in the area if want to drive it take it to another tuner guys at strictly modified are pretty good and apm both have tuned friends cars of mine and both turned out great. look them up should be able to get you in within a couple of days. just an option for ya.
Put some spacers(washer) between the braces and downpipe.
You'll be fine driving the car, especially since you checked the A/F's. Try to stay out of boost, but if you get into it a little you should be ok. People get too freaked out about getting "tuned" for every change.
Take it easy and drive the car like a civilized adult for a month and you'll be fine. Then you can make up for it when you rockin some boost on the new turbo hotness.

There's nothing wrong with buying a Tactrix cable and learning how to tune it yourself. Not only will you feel better learning about your car, but it will save you a ton of money and wait time having shops do it.
It's really not that hard, and there's a whole subforum dedicated to tuning with ECUFlash with some great people in there.

Dude boost it to 20 psi. Won't hurt. Might knock a little but you'll be fine. I've seen a guy go from an VIII turbo to a HTA88 and we literally turned it on, got on the highway and made 24 PSI on pump. No tune. A few counts of knock but it was fine.
Also ball bearing turbos audibly spin after you turn the car off. When it stops doing that you're in trouble.

Thee safest thing you can do is get some logging done......do a couple 3rd gear pulls and see whats up.....
and see whats happening.....remember alot of people stick with tuning on the stock ecu for its great knock control....so you should be just fine...just take your time untill the tune...

Right now I have 3 weeks or so until my tune. They are also going to do my clutch and I hear the twin disc exedy heavy duty has no break in time so I can install the clutch and dyno with it brand new. I am hoping this clutch will work excellent because I have the 6 speed. I am going to avoid boost for 3 weeks, and probably barely drive the car. I'm going to only drive it enough to get the new GSC S2 cams worn in just a little. I also have a fan brace to macgyver up.

I had those when I had my megan downpipe and I hated the idea of having them. I took them off this time when i installed the ETS kit downpipe and hammered the bars flat where the pipes go. It worked like a charm on the first one, but I need to do the rear one some more. I'm going to sand them down and repaint them so they dont rust as easy.

I also notice with the new cams (gsc s2's) the voltage drops when she gets too low and lopey. I saw on my voltage gauge sometimes it dips into the 13's. I noticed this when I had my maplight on and it dimmed a little with the sound of the lopey lopey lope...
