Can it take 550whp on a daily driver? and where canI find hks gt3240 turbo kit for it?

Yes, but there are better options out there now. FP's HTA3582 or HTA3586 in any vendor's turbo kit will do ya well. For a ton more midrange and near the same power, consider full bolt-ons along with CBRD's BBK, FP's Red, or MAP's new SST. These are all stock-frame turbos that will give you a ton more midrange and keep your evo an evo

The only real weak part of the 6-speed is 4th gear.

 

ah, is there anyway to remedy it without swapping out the tranny? and hes a HKS nuthugger so he inisist on a 3240..

 

I think TRE sells a gear set for the 6 speed. I run a 2.3L with a hta 86 and my 6 speed is fine. Just don't beat the hell out of it so the trans doesn't over heat. I think the over heating is more of a issue with the 6 speed then the gears imo.
