That is what I was hoping.
I'm going to start saving up for a Cusco twin.
The Exedy drives well with the Gruppe-S Flywheel, too bad for the noise.

Did anyone adjust the clutch pedal to rid the noise at decel?
It is only at 4th and 5th gear between 40-60mph.

Anybody find the cause of this? Is it the TOB or the lighter flywheel?

I'm already considering going back to stock or a different set up.

My triple disk used to rattle. REALLY bad. it made funny sounds when i pulled out, when i pushed in the clutch, and of course when i would let of the gas around 4 or 5K it would chatter also. That is normal for a twin or a triple, but seems a little odd for it to be doing it to a stage 1..

Yes, I have exactly the same problem. My clutch is new, and was changed by the dealer so I'm not sure what's in it, but I get the same "chatter" on engine start, and letting off the gas. If anyone has a fix then I'd be interested too.

Its probably normal... Most aftermarket clutches make noise, twin disks make more noise then signal disk clutches

the one on engine start will probably go away. my ACT clutch was loud upon startup and warmup. once it was warmed up it stop the grinding noise it had but it still chatters at high RPM lol

From what people have said, it seems like a normal problem.

But, man it's annoying, it sounds exactly like a loose heat shield vibrating against something else. But.. only when I let off the gas in 4th/5th gear, if I even slightly put my foot on the gas again, or push the clutch, it goes away.

It makes me paranoid enough to have it up on ramps again and again trying to rattle something, somewhere, but nothing ever does! .

andysimmo, you have the exact same noise as I do.

Unfortunately I don't know, I bought the car about 2 weeks ago, the dealer said it had a new clutch in it but didn't specify if it was aftermarket, oem, or anything else. I will ask them next time I'm there to pick up my tag.

Is it definitely clutch noise !? I looked at the drive train and it "looks" solid (but I'm no expert), it doesn't rattle when I try and shake it. If it's just clutch noise, and it's fairly normal, then I'll learn to live with it until it goes away or the clutch fails.

But every time I'm out trying to enjoy the car, it bugs me, and convinces me that something is badly wrong. I don't want my new Evo to blow up.

I need a

This may or may not work for some of you guys. This is only if you have ruled out all other options, and it sounds crazy. lol

Where your gas tank is there are a bunch of aluminum (I think) shields that surround it. Having exhausted ALL my options, I followed the advice of a local Corvette shop that looked at my car and I stuffed shop rags between the shields and the tank.

My noises are now gone. lol

I got you now, I put my car to the car lift and the noise come from the transmission, i have a exedy hyper twin clutch than use to be fine, after we stop the car for 3 months to modified the engine (oil pump balance shaft eliminator, aluminum crank pulley install (harmonic balancer removed) 2.3L stroker install, also we dissemble the clutch to balance the flywheel with crank and aluminum crank pulley and after all the mods i start having this nasty rattles, before all that my tin clutch it was fine.
