Camtech 272s or Kelford 272s

Hi guys im currently in search for some cams.

ill be purchasing cams, springs and retainers. My current modes are tomei dump and front pipe, metal cat 3" and a 3" trust ti-r catback.

im still running a stock evo 8 GSR turbo.

what im wondering is will getting cams improve my my peak power and affect my daily driving? The cams im thinking of are Camtech 272s or Kelford 272s.

will these run well with the stock gsr turbo? i will later on upgrade the turbo to either a evo 9 20G or a trust TD06 turbo. but i just wanna know for now how will these cams go with a stock GSR turbo.

Thanks guys,
Charlie

camtech 272s are only 10.8mm lift right?

i think the kelfords are a little higher...either one will be a good upgrade

i also suggest getting an evo IX turbo, they can be found for under 500USD used

so would it be better to get the kelfords for a stock GSR turbo, or to go for the slightly less aggressive cam and go for camtechs?

both cams are similar and will no doubt make power, but idk about the drivability for these cams, I'm guessin the kelfords would have more of a lope at idle due to the higher lift and duration,

You could drive it but it wouldn't be very safe, def not for a month. Maybe a day or two.

I'd say kelfords over camtech's.

Love my Kelfords, and yes you will need a tune asap. As for the turbo, get the CBRD BBK Lite/Full. Killer stockframed turbo.
