Need Help, Were do i start????
Well here is my issue. I want to start building my car, It’s an Evo9 MR. The goal for the car is 500+ whp on 94 pump gas with meth, no I don’t have E85 I’m in Canada (just want to get that out of the way now)
Now my problem is I don’t know what to do first. Should I start by upgrading to a larger Turbo? Do I upgrade the internals on the motor first in preparation of higher boost levels?? Knowing that the MR trans is not know for it’s longevity at high horsepower levels do I buy a trans first??
Since I’m not going to go buy 10K in parts in one shot, I just want some opinions on what the smartest place to start would be. I though maybe starting with a large turbo kit and keeping the boost levels moderate until I build the other areas. I have a full Buscher exhaust, IC piping, intercooler, most supporting mods are in place so I’m looking to get my hands dirty and start on this project
I have f**k all to do during winter anyway.
Thanks Gents

I'd upgrade the things that you can use how the car sits now, and when its built. I'd say like intercooler + piping. Maybe fuel pump, some engine management stuff. It all depends on how much you want to spend and when.
