They dont make crap for power at 8 psi.... if your looking to only run 8 psi on your mustang your getting the wrong turbo. Better run at least 15 psi.

i dont know what you consider crap but for now until my engine is fully built i dont want to exceed 350 @ the wheels which would put me in the high 11s

You cannot compare 8psi on on Evo engine (8.5:1 CR) to 8psi on a mustang motor (10:1 + - no idea what year or if a built motor)....That said, I think the Evo 8 turbo would likely be too small for such a large motor....I believe it is more common to put (2) 30R or 35R variants on the mustangs, right ?

This will help you out:

You are going to be maxing the turbo out somewhere around 4500 RPM if your Mustang is a 4.6L.

You guys aren't listening to him. He is asking the flow rates of a single VIII turbo, but he plans on using 2 of them as he has two exhaust banks...

A dual 16g setup works well on a 5.0l mustang. My friend made over 420whp at 12psi on a mustang dyno. He sourced the turbos from a junkyard and made a turbo kit for under $1200 after he read an article on stangnet.

8psi on a 4.6l will net much more power than 8psi on a 2.0l. It is called.........

D I S P L A C E M E N T......

Which is also why the 03' cobras easily make 450-500whp on a mustang dyno with only 15-16psi with the stock supercharger.
