Weird sound, low boost NEED HELP!!
Hello everyone,
I was driving my Evo9 and suddenly after I stepped on the gas while it was spooling there was a weird air sound that was close to the drivers side and the boost was low too. Normaly it is around 18 psi, now it doesnt go over 10 psi!!
My friend says that Evo9's have a problem with the exhaust cat. the check engine light was shown and after he plugged his programmer it shows that the check engine light was from the high flow cat. My exhaust is a Cobb TBE with HFC.
I took my car to place to check the high flow cat and after they took it off, I dont think there was anything wrong with it, I mean it was clean from the inside.
Did anyone have a similar experience or has an idea of what is going wrong?
