Exclamation AEM EMS for EVO8

There have been many rumors floating around regarding the AEM EMS for the Evo. We have, in fact, been involved in its development and have been working directly with the engineers at AEM. We have one of the two R&D boards that were allowed to leave AEM's facility. We have been very busy here at the shop, but I was able to take the time this week to work with the EMS on our Evo. As of yesterday, our Evo is running speed density and the factory MAF has been entirely removed. I am currently in the process of mapping the car with our Stage 4 mods with the obvious exception of the Super AFCII. The vehicle is idling with complete stability and driveability is now approaching what I feel to be better than stock. I am currently working the calibrations and I hope to have our packages available ready to ship or install within 4 to 5 weeks.

I am currently designing our packages to include everything required for a painless installation. This will include all of the necessary hardware, sensors, calibrations and instructions. These BR specific packages will also include an integrated UEGO controller along with a wideband o2 sensor for accurate tuning and datalogging.

I personally feel that the EMS will become the best fuel management solution for the EVO 8.

Sounds good, how are you guys going to tune customers EVO's because you have a 2 wheel dyno is that correct?

Tym is going to come up with a base tune for all the stages that we have. The AEM's will come in here, the maps will be loaded and then shipped to the customer. The car will then start and should run perfectly. Any further tuning will be handled by the customer and the tech will be done through here.

We can also tune the car if it comes here either on our 2WD dyno or we can tune it on the street for driveability and WOT performance.

What is the expected price?

I plan on going all the way to stage 4.. (I'm at stage 1 right now)
What about a package deal? (I've PM'ed you before about this)

Will this be offered as a compliment to your stage 1, 2, 3, etc or is this for stage 4 (for example) and above?

Any idea on the price? $1600?
