Defective Piston Evo9?

Found this while browsing on DSG Motorsport's website. Has anybody any further information regarding the change?

The word "homologated" causes me to think this is WRC stuff. If you look at Qatar provisionary Rally entries under homologated number N-5688 you find and Evo 9 entry.

This is Group N homologation papers, which is a list of what parts and specs the car should run with.

Group N is production class.

It's rally stuff indeed.

Yogi_B: Group N is a specific class that allows modifications that are listed. Anything not listed is banned.

Well back in the good ol days it used to be production class, apart from shocks, ecu, brake pads and safety gear.

These days Group N is more like mini Group A.

Ye... It used to be "Buy a car, put a roll cage in it and you're set for group N"

Now the price to build a Group N car is about twice the amount you pay initially for the car if you want to have a proper competitive car.
