What broke in my Tranny???

So pretty much like the thread says. My tranny seems fine in all gears but 3rd and 4th. If you are shifting into 3rd or 4th it feels like you are "trying to stir a vat of peanut butter!" It goes in smooth with no grinding It just seems really stiff. What does this mean. Don't tell me "it's F'd up" I think i figured that out myself. But let me know what you think may be wrong. If it matters I have the POS 6speed

could be your under hood shifter bushings that are either shot or need to be lubed!

does the 5 speed bolt right up with no hassles to 6 speed cars? Do you require a new ecu? or can it adapt?

The problem is internal. The slider for 3/4 is cracked. If you continue to drive it I suggest skipping 3/4. if slider breaks apart you will have a meat grinder on your hands. This is common problem with 6 speed. The slider is thin and easy to crack.

Open your hood, remove your battery, and tray i think and they are underneath, I have a small battery so its easy to find them.

How many miles on your guys's cars? You guys do anything odd to make this happen?

I have 30k, but its my driving that breaking the tranny. I also have quite a bit of tq. The tranny can't handle my aggressive driving.

Mine has Just under 30k on it. Is it exspensive to get the slider replaced? Or should I just drive it till it breaks then rebuild the whole thing?
