Strange Walbro Whine after Track Day

Ok, this has never happened before. After the track day, I noticed when im accelerating and in boost 1psi+, there is a TOTALLY noticeable change to a higher tone/pitch/noise coming from the fuel pump. This was in 5th gear hwy speeds. I KNOW what a fuel pump sounds like. I do not have rear seats so i can hear it clearly. So, when im in boost just accelerating, but not cruising, i hear it. By the way, its not increasing in sound in relation to speed. Its the exact same high pitch noise regardless of speed or if i go wot. HIGHLY doubt its the transfercase. When I get off throttle and it changes back immediately.

Any ideas as to what would cause this or is this normal? Electrical problem? I did not get any CEL or anything. Car drives fine, im just a little concerned.

They get louder when they see alot of heat. Sounds pretty normal unless it doesn't stop doing it after being cool.

The higher voltage goes on with any throttle so that is why you hear it go louder.

From other threads that I have seen, this is pretty normal. I wouldn't worry about it.

Ok thanks GST and aschold. Yep, the noise is now gone and back to the ol' whinebro fuel pump sound.
