Anyone try ordering these lately? I ordered some recently and was told they were in stock and 2 weeks later I dont have rods. Last part I need to start my rebuild...havent driven the car since thanksgiving and I'm slightly peeved. just wondering who else is in this boat since they said others have them on back order was well. Not bashing MAP as they said its the rod company that is giving them the runaround without reach around

again I am very sorry for this delay, please check your voicemail for the latest update. We will do all we can to get these to you asap and make up for the inconvenience as well.

 

Gotcha buddy....I did get your vm and no harm no foul to you or your company...not too sure about Howard or their machine shop though. I appreciate your attention to the matter and have had nothing but success besides this incidence when dealing with your company over the past year. Thanks again!

 

Mine took about 3 weeks to get to my door; I wasn't really in a rush so I wasn't too concerned w/ the wait. Definitely a very nice set of rods

 

yup 3 weeks for mine too but they came in a cool case lol

 

Hopefully they will be on the shelf soon! In the meantime we will continue to do our best in regards to the accuracy of quoted time frames.

 

I know its fairly early but I havent gotten a phone call from Howards yet. I wish I wasn't in a hurry but I am lol. Yes they sound like a good rod and Jordan did a good job of pursuading me to get them....I now just want to see what all the fuss is about and put them in my car....whenever I get them that is.

 

Chris is a good guy through my dealings. He will work things out with you.

Got a call from Robert from Howards earlier so I am in direct contact with him. He said they should be ready to ship by tomorrow!

 

According to Robert from Howard's my rods shipped today...we will see come monday I guess...That means I will start the rebuild next week!
