I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it sounds like **** too... right? Mine had a full 3" Helix (no cat) on it when I bought it and it was horrible. Sounded like a damn CRX. I welded in a magnaflow mid muffler in and it was a little quieter but still had that ****ty tone. So I cut the Helix and welded on an Apexi N1. It's better but can still be mistaken for... uh, maybe a Celica, lmao. I have a 2.3L stroker that has 190-200 compression numbers and a TTR tubular manifold, so maybe that has something to do with it. I'm just used to my 8.5:1 2.0L DSM with a self-made full 4" sounding waaay better.

I'm gonna tell you what everyone else is... EVOs like expensive parts

 

^ nah, it doesnt sound high pitched or raspy at all. its very deep. ill try to take a vid of it.

 

But really... for $45 I would hit it!

 

even $45 is too much for this junk .... loose it and put back the stocker, or get a part time job if you don't have 1 already and get a good quality exhaust .

 

I'm getting rid of this junk. I had an exhaust shop check it for me and it doesnt fit well. If i raise it, itll hit other places like the diff or the driveshaft. Im going back to the stock cbe for a while till I save up to get an AMS or buschur tbe

 

Mind selling me that "crappy" sounding helix of yours? hahaha

go buy you an ams.. stainless steel, fits superb, sounds great.. for the form and function being under $1k is a deal
