assembly lube question ... whats better ?
assembly lube question ... whats better ?
starting to assemble my 2.0 build , and my first question is ..... i have two kinds of assembly lube , redline or coastal ... has anyone used either?
question two... the redline states that its better then conventional molly lubes... and as the arp stud directions stress the use of arp molly lube (that i don't have )would i be taking a chance using the redline instead of arp molly ?
they are main studs btw... thanks

Coastal sounds like a run of the mill assembly lube. I would use the redline.
On ARP studs, I would only use ARP moly lube. It is the lube they use when determining torque specs based on the strength and stretch of the bolt.
