Cam Install... 2 quick questions

I tried searching for this info, but nothing was very specific.

First off, what assembly lube did people use when installing their new cams? I have heard people using motor oil, but I'd like to hear some suggestions as EVOmoto says assembly lube, but no specific grade or brand.

Secondly, the EVOmoto install procedure also points to applying "sealant" to the 6 corners where the valve cover meets the #1 cam bearing caps and the cam angle sensor housing. What type of "sealant" are they talking about?

Thanks in advance!!

I use Redline assembly lube when installing cams, I got mine from Jegs or Summit but a buddy of mine said you can get it from places like autozone or Advance auto.

The sealent you can get at those plces also, Its in a gray tube and it says for use with most imports, It will be with all their other sealents. If you can't find it just ask one of the workers and I'm sure they can point it out to you since its for alot of imports.

I used some lube that I had left over from an Edlebrock Performer package that I put on my Jeep. But I'd say just pick up some assembly lube from Autozone.
