TB Help!!!!! What did I do wrong?

So I just replaced the tb seals with milspec seals and the install was pretty straight forward. Problem now is that the idle is messed up because the throttle is not fully closing. It has a little bit of play in it. It doesn't seem to be sprung hard enough to pull all the way back to the catch. I made sure the hatch marks for the tps were aligned as they were before I removed it and everything fell back together and felt fine before I put it back on the car. I am going to check to see if maybe I can add more preload to the springs but other than that I am stumped.

try sliding the throttle cable bracket back!!! There can be no slack in that line. Did you mark the TPS sensor before removing it???? Those things are sensative to a T. If your off by a 1 mm it'll throw your idle off

get a set of feeler gauges & remove the 0.002 & 0.0025 blades.

use these to center the TB blade on the shaft.

I have seen that already. As I stated above I made sure the hatch marks were lined up perfect. Tightening the throttle cable will make it even worse. I just need to play with it. I think adding some more preload to the springs will do the trick.

The blade is centered and opens and closes fine just as it did before I changed the seals.

problem solved. I had the spring seated wrong. Seals work great. My idle doesn't drop anymore which is a nice thing.
