any info on maf box

I was looking into the whole idea of a mass air flow translator or one of those control units that make the car not lope or idle rough, I keep getting a check engine light with a p0300 and it only happens at idle. I have a aftermarket blow off valve and i've read that it might help to get one of those kits, any suggestions?

Will you give us some more specifics please? Such as: What are your mods? What brand of BOV? Which MAF translator, and etc.?

The MAF-T will not correct loping or rough idle. That's just something you live with when you have aggressive cams. Correctly gap your plugs, change your ignition setup, and get a solid tune.

I did all of the above then just disabled the PO300 test. It's worthless.

what do you mean by changing my ignition setup? you mean like swap the coils and stuff for aftermarket? and how do you disable that p0300 test? and yeah I do have AEM cam gears.

Just set your idle to 2500 rpm, she'll purr like a kitten.

If stock cams, then what are the settings for the adjustable gears?
