Size of BOV Recirc hose?

Background info:
- Purchased car from dealership used, had HKS knockoff BOV on it, stealershiprefused to replace it. Car drove fine so I left it.
- Installed Perrin Intake & TBE w/ HFC last week.
- Immediately experienced surge on upshift.
- Immediately tuned by professional shop.
- I suspect the knockoff BOV is crap and cannot properly vent enough during motor unloading. Reason is, everything else is stock, car is properly tuned, maxes out at 19psi very nice boost curve, no spiking or creep. Only strange component is this **** BOV.

Currently:
- Overnighted a JDM Evo IX MR BOV so I can get rid of this VTA eBay crap.
- I do not have the proper hose to connect it to the intake.
- I am very short on time and currently at work, searching turned up no specific results.
- I need to know the ID of the recirc hose so I can get a nipple and hose on the way home from work today.
- Car must be repaired immediately - very scared of damaging my bearings.

Thank you all in advance!!

I am uncertain what you are talking about....

OP:
My suggestion is to get a radiator hose from the parts store with the correct bend / length / ID you need and then trim to fit.......

From the stock BOV to the stock intake, a 1.25 inch ID chunk of hose will work.

Thanks for the reply

ended up figuring it out myself by measuring the old intake at home.

This information was correct - it is 1.25" ID. Thread closed.
