New EVO 8 and 9 CNC Cylinder Heads APM Racing

Hey guys we have CNC heads for evo 8 and 9. They come with 1mm oversized valves, stainless intake, inconell exhaust,Supertech dual springs, titanium retainers, viton seals and new guides. These heads flow over 280 cfm at .500 on the intake and over 270 cfm on the exhaust at .500. These heads flow more on the exhaust than most competitors heads flow on their intake. If you want just a cnc core or need a whole head without a core we can take care of you. I will have pics of the evo 9 head today

What % gains over the stock head (or a defined competitor) do you see at .1", .2", .3", .4", and .5" ? Also, why did you choose to go 1mm over on the valves vs. keeping stock sized ? (I have heard that a properly ported evo head actually can make better / broader power with the stock sized valves.) Thanks

We are up around 25% gain over stock. Bigger valves flow more air. More air equals more power. On a stock turbo car or a 30r i see the advantages of possibly having a smaller valve. If a customer wants to use a stock size valve we can do that as well. We can use what ever size vlave the customer wants along with different brands of components. These heads are a lot of money and we want people to be happy.

Will you be posting actual % improvements at each of the intervals, so we can really see how good the head is compared to stock? (I'd rather have real data vs. ~25% improvement.) Thanks

Awesome, but what were the numbers on that head before porting?

Also, with the stock size valve, do you use the same throat diameter as with the 1mm over valves?

stock evo heads flow around 220 cfm peak. Supertech uses the same size valve stem for their valves. This head outflows a stock evo heads peak flow by .300 lift.

no. We have gotten a lot of questions about who is making the cylinder heads. Obviously we cannot tell you nor does the company want you to know. We paid for all the design work. So even if you knew who machines our heads you cannot buy one. This is an APM Racing head. Our numbers are as good if not better than any other head on the market and with cnc you will always get what you expect.plus our pricing is lower than any other CNC race head out there.
