Timing mark question
let me also add, i remember the intake cam being very easy to keep still, while the exhaust cam was a complete *****. the exhaust cam wanted to move, and I remember i used zip ties on a socket wrench and right above the headlights theres a circle hole punched out on our cars that you can put a zip tie through and keep it held there so it doesn't rotate on you.
I Did the balance shaft trick and it moved towards the mark so it was in time but the oil pump sprocket was 180 degrees off its mark.I put the screwdriver in the hole and now it's held at its mark.
I'm waiting on my water pump gasket and o-ring which should be in tomorrow.
And my serpentine belt was shot,so I ordered a gates racing one.Not sure when thats coming though.
I purchased the timing belt tools from jays racing and it came with a plastic piece that you slide in between the cam gears to lock them in place when the marks are aligned.Works great.

Now, I need to send Jay's Racing a picture of my tool that locks the crank for crank bolt removal.
